Leelanau Montessori Forever Foundation was created to deepen the Roots of the Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy. Our mission, as a Foundation, is to grow funds that will help maintain a sustainable future for the school community by continuing to provide an authentic Montessori education for all families in the Leelanau and Grand Traverse area.
LMFF continues this mission by finding unique and fun ways to raise money. For the last 5 years we have hosted a 5K and Fun Run for the community at large. It has been very successful financially and also making us visible as a school to our community. We host an Evening of Art event yearly that showcases student’s art, and local community art is also available for auction as well as other local experiences. We have some smaller product sales during the year. Wreaths, pies, farmraiser, popcorn sales, Halloween parties and dinners to go are among the fundraising events we have done to help support our mission. We are committed to the growth and development of Leelanau Montessori. We have wonderful community support. We couldn’t do what we do without that support! We work hard to keep fresh ideas flowing to help us raise the funds we need to support the school. We are always looking for creative and motivated team members. Anyone interested in joining our team can contact LMFF President, Danu Geraci. |
