This is your opportunity to show gratitude and contribute meaningfully to our school and your child(ren)'s educational experience at LMPSA.
We meet monthly on the second Wednesday of the month at 8:30 AM. While attendance at every meeting is not required, we strongly encourage your participation as the school year begins. Being involved in LMFF can also help you satisfy your commitment to the school's Dollar a Day campaign, as volunteering is a great alternative to monetary donations.

Our MissionLeelanau Montessori Forever Foundation was created to deepen the Roots of the Leelanau Montessori Public School Academy. Our mission, as a Foundation, is to grow funds that will help maintain a sustainable future for the school community by continuing to provide an authentic Montessori education for all families in the Leelanau and Grand Traverse area.
LMFF continues this mission by finding unique and fun ways to raise money. We have several annual fundraisers, including a 5K and Fun Run for the community at large, as well as our "Evening of Art, which showcases student’s art and other donations items that are auctioned off during the event. Both of these have raised our visibility to the Leelanau County community and been monetarily successful. We also have some smaller product sales during the year like wreath sales, dinners to go, and more recently our Stone Soup celebration. We are committed to the growth and development of Leelanau Montessori. We have wonderful community support. We couldn’t do what we do without that support! We work hard to keep fresh ideas flowing to help us raise the funds we need to support the school. We are always looking for creative and motivated team members. [email protected] Danu Geraci is a Mom, an RYT-200 Yoga Teacher, a La Leche League Leader, foster dog mom for AC Paw and volunteer at Leelanau Montessori. All three of her children attend or are alumni of Leelanau Montessori. Danu spent the first 5 years of her life in Leelanau County and then spent many summers here until relocating back to Leelanau County with her husband in 2002, where they live with their kids, dogs and a cat. She has since lived in numerous locations, including VA, CT, NY and Naples, Italy, and has visited numerous European countries following her husband Kevin through his military career for the past 16 years. Rebekah now lives in Leelanau County, with Kevin and their 4 Children Caleb, Analynn, Gabriella and Natalie. Rebekah is a full time homemaker who enjoys gardening, cooking, knitting, sewing, reading and traveling. She is grateful for the opportunity serve with the Leelanau Montessori Forever Foundation. |
