Leelanau Montessori Enrollment
Our enrollment application is found on our website or may be emailed upon request. We enroll incoming students each year in late March during our Open Enrollment period. We accept applications year round.
After initial contact or inquiry, parents/guardians visit the school for a classroom observation. Observation is an essential practice to learning about the Montessori method and seeing Leelanau Montessori in action. It will help generate questions and begin to frame your understanding of the learning culture here. This appointment is for adults only and gives you time to watch with undivided attention. You may complete and return an enrollment application at any time.
After your child is enrolled at LMPSA, you will receive further registration materials and be contacted by your child’s classroom guide. We offer home and classroom visits for children in our Toddler and Primary programs.

Enrollment Process
Open Enrollment purpose and process
Open enrollment is an annual process that is followed by public charter schools in order to establish and maintain equitable access to a school of choice. Open enrollment applies to all our programs for children ages 3-12. Toddler children are not eligible and enjoy a rolling admission.
