This cherished annual event brings together families and the greater community in celebration of health, connection, and the beauty of our Leelanau County. Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, it’s a joyful evening filled with energy and fun. After the run, bring a dish to pass for a potluck, enjoy good company, and watch the sun set over the vineyard. It’s always a magical evening!

Big Feelings Parenting Course
Last year, Leelanau Montessori sponsored the 'Big Feelings?' parenting course, and because it had such an impact on the participants, we've teamed up with Firelight to offer it again!
Here's what parents who attended last year said:
"I felt a deep sense of community with our group, realizing that I am not alone in my parenting hardships. It was validating to hear about others' struggles to parent in this moment. I would recommend this class to any parent who wants to deepen their connection with themselves and their children, as well as create a supportive community with other parents."
“I thought this course was going to primarily be about supporting my kids' big emotions, but I see how witnessing and seeing my own big emotions is a support to my kids.”
“I learned and remembered to do things that are new, and to surround myself with others who are also embracing this human experience and all that comes with it.”
Registration open to LMPSA families starting September 2, 2025
If you are a family at LMPSA please register by September 15th to reserve your spot.
Registration is open to the broader community - if there are community spots available after school, families register - we will confirm your spot starting September 15th. You can register now to get on the waiting list as a community participant!
Registration closes September 26, 2025 -- Space limited to 12 participants
